Approach
Shot handheld, Anna's visual language swings between wide shots that show her alienation in Abu Dhabi as the war unfolds in her hometown and closeups that pique at the interior conflict that unravels in her mind.
Sound was crucial in constructing a subjectivity between the real and imagined, the interior and the exterior world of Anna; sirens, sounds of drones, corpses falling and overwhelming traffic.
